About Don
Don is a musician, sound engineer and instrument maker. One of his creations is the Netherlute (see third picture above), many known guitarists have one now. Over 300 pieces have been produced. He is also occupied in getting interesting instruments from abroad. His love is making music and working with instruments. He does not desire for much money… just music.

I myself am extremely happy with this Dobro guitar he got from somewhere in the Universe. And as an addon he found out a way of tuning after production to keep it harmonic while playing chords (these guitars were intended to play slide guitar, I play it as a normal guitar). Relation description (Iwanka – Don):
I met Don Willard in 2008. After three weeks ‘hospitalization’ in psychiatry (see Diagnosis Livejammed book), I bought a car and after five weeks I left and went for Biarritz. For my ‘personal recovery’ course, which I felt could not find in psychiatry. I sat at ‘Baie Basque’, watching over the see and watching at the beautiful surfers bodies. My suïcide attempt was only six weeks before… what a contrast, and what a contrast with the people I met how where undergoing mental treatment in psyhiatry. “I want to contribute in healing the earth”, was the inspiration I got in Biarritz. And the sun, the sea and the surfers inspirated me to download the ‘Good Vibrations’ song by the Beach Boys. I listened to it day and night in Biarritz. Part of my recovery process I guess.
Why is this important to mention? Because the Beach Boys brought met to Don Willard. Back in the Netherlands, I was talking with Henk Fokker, who also got jammed in life, and undertook several suïcide attempts. My talking on making music inspired him to pick up his keyboard playing. He went to Kickmusic in Hilversum. After this he told me I should really go there and meet Don and Chris (both driving the store at that moment). I went there. I met Don and told him about the strange path leading me to him. I told him about my fascination for the Good Vibrations, and he spoke the magical words “I recorded an album with them, In Holland”. Wow… since then my beleive in ‘synchronity’ and reality creation (creamation I name it) was founded strongly: I think about the Beach Boys and there I meet Don… Don also said: “I even got some tape recorders they used…”. I still I hope we can use those for recording the “Calling Mayqueen” album I am working at…
I decided to ask Don to bring me a complete band line up (I had money left from working at banks, and wanted to turn the money into sense full things before the banks would collapse). They are still talking on it at Kick… that crazy boy just saying: “How much do you need for a complete band line up?” and giving more than 10.000 euro’s, saying goodbye and leaving… Well Don arranged me nice goods! Even Carrie Tree now took advantage of it at a performace at Ruigoord Amsterdam. That is the way things go… After this Don stayed with me in my appartment for four months in 2011. And we intend to do a lot of things together, varying from recording album(s), organizing (freedom) concerts to founding new type of townships (flowtowns). We will see…
